Terms of Service
Draft — not legal advice. These documents have not been reviewed by counsel.
The service
HoldCam lets event hosts create a shared disposable-camera roll. Guests shoot through a browser link; photos stay hidden until the develop time the host sets, then reveal together in a gallery.
HoldCam is provided by the HoldCam team (“we”, “us”). By creating an event or using a guest link, you agree to these terms.
Accounts and access
Hosts manage a roll in the browser after create. A backup magic link is emailed so they can open the same roll on another device. Guests do not need an account — they open the event link and shoot when the host allows it.
Payments and tiers
Free, Party, and Wedding tiers set guest caps, frames, and how long galleries are kept. Paid upgrades are processed at checkout; prices may be shown in USD, EUR, or RUB depending on checkout settings.
Guests over the package cap, and frames over the per-guest limit, are stored in escrow — they are not deleted. Unlocking them requires upgrading the roll to a tier that covers those guests and frames.
Acceptable use
Do not upload illegal content, harass others, or attempt to disrupt the service. Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or resell access without permission.
We may suspend or remove content or events that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe create legal or security risk.
Disclaimers
HoldCam is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect photo quality, or that every device will support every feature.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of HoldCam.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
